Leads Tech and FMW Business Development organization located in Austin, TX, covering all territories in Canada. Participates in strategic and tactical planning for the country. Develops working relationships with license, consulting, education, and/or support field managers to develop joint account plans. Develops and executes strategic territorial plans utilizing resources from various marketing and sales functions to maximize pipeline and revenue generation. Responsible for coaching, performance management, and career development of staff. Participates in the recruiting process and provides hiring recommendations to senior management. Handles escalations and participates directly in complex sales situations to negotiate and/or resolve disputes and ensure customer satisfaction. Conducts regional sales forecasts, demand generation, deal strategy development and trend analysis. Leads sales training for sales and business development teams utilizing sales methodology, 3rd party sales tools, lead and contact generation. Train new hires on Oracle business processes, and internal/external guidelines and policies.
